Founded by Dan DeLong in 1996, Studio 1 Percussion strives to enhance the cultural development of the community by growing the understanding of the art of percussion, promoting excellence in music, and building the individual confidence and self-esteem of our students. As an accomplished percussionist, director, teacher, and composer, Dan offers students a well-rounded music education that aims to foster the “holistic percussionist”. Beginners and advanced students alike will focus on rudimental, drum-set, melodic percussion, and world percussion instruments that together offer a comprehensive percussion education.
